Getting Started

Prior to any personal training program, all clients are fully assessed in an initial consultation in order to determine the kind of exercise that will best maximize their results.

I will assess your fitness level using the Functional Movement System (FMS). The goal of FMS assessment is to put an individual into one of three categories:

Acceptable screen ~ ready for activity
Unacceptable screen ~ at risk of injury, unless movement patterns are cleared up
Pain with screen ~ needs to see a clinician, preferably an SFMA qualified practitioner

The FMS assessment also will allow me to see how you move. From there I can identify and remove movements or activities that may injure.

I want you to move correctly and the FMS enables this, so I can design a program just for you.
