Prior to any personal training program, all clients are fully assessed in an initial consultation in order to determine the kind of exercise that will best maximize their results.
I will assess your fitness level using the Functional Movement System (FMS). The goal of FMS assessment is to put an individual into one of three categories:
☛ Acceptable screen ~ ready for activity
☛ Unacceptable screen ~ at risk of injury, unless movement patterns are cleared up
☛ Pain with screen ~ needs to see a clinician, preferably an SFMA qualified practitioner
The FMS assessment also will allow me to see how you move. From there I can identify and remove movements or activities that may injure.
